2011 Better Business Bureau Award

On May 4th, The Better Business Bureau of Education Foundation honored BBB accredited companies that maintain a superior commitment to ethics, overall excellence, and quality in the workplace at the 2011 Awards for Excellence luncheon.  I W Marks Jewelers is among the 2011 winners.

  • The "Community Builder Award" Recognizes an individual who has distinguished himself through community service. Sponsored by the Grand Lodge of Texas, this award goes to an outstanding non-mason who follows the same precepts, ideals and standards of Masons.

  • Mr. Marks received the Jefferson Award from the American Institute for Public Service which recognizes public and community service.

  • Mr. I.W. Marks was chairman of the Houston Grand Opera prestigious white-tie "Nuit Magnifique" Opera Ball.The Jewish Community Center of Houston dedicated "The I.W. Marks Theater Center" in recognition of his gift to renovate the center's two Theaters and Lecture Halls.
